I think you should stop supporting the old versions.. If people don't want to upgrade, then it's their problem not yours.. Stop spending time on old versions. And keep up your great work :) |

Upgrading up to 6.9 is a lot easier than the many changes up from 7.0 to 7.5+
If you won't keep the Patched series for 6.9, then I'll be happy to work on it myself. |

Nuke Users still using Versions Below 7.0 be advised thru various Nuke websites announcement system to Upgrade to that of Latest Versions as lot of Work Goes on in keeping with Latest Security Threats to minimum by Constant upgradation by Francisco Burgee and Chatserv who deserve Qudos for excellent work they are putting up by way on enhancing there softwares both by utility, look and feel and Security point of view and letting the Php-Nuke Community grow by Leaps and Bounds.
It is requested that emphasis be laid to the Old as well as New Nuke Users to either Go in for Latest PHP-Nuke Version or the benifits of Continuous Upgradation to the the Latest Version as we all keep doing in case of Various Anti Viruses Upgradation in case of Window Systems.
That Can happen Only if Patches and Fixes production be stopped
prior to at least 5 versions from the Newest One for Public. For Example If 7.6 is availabale to Public then Patches and Fixes be Frozen for Versions Below 6.9. As this in long run be Making our Nuke Community more Advanced and better one who would not fall pray to Hacking of Nuke Powered sites and thus no deterioration of Status of Beautiful, Easy to use and More Secured PHP-Nuke Content Management System.

Why doesn't FB use these patches and fixes, incorporating each into the next release of nuke? On top of that, why do people continue to use 6.x versions? If people can't upgrade, how is the community going to move forward? Other CMS's are becomming much stronger than nuke, what do we have to do to get 8.0? |
